The Ministry of Finance announced progress on the 2026 State Welfare Registration Project, emphasizing that those who did not pass eligibility verification can request a rights review by 31 August 2026.
Winij Wisesuwanphum, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, revealed that as of 26 August 2026, 3,139,886 applicants passed eligibility verification requiring identity confirmation (e-KYC). Of these, 2,510,504 have successfully completed e-KYC, representing 80%.
Among 9,314,253 applicants who failed eligibility verification, 4,767,301 have submitted rights review requests. Those who believe there may be errors or outdated information in their verification results can maintain their rights by requesting a review by 31 August 2026 via the following channels:
If data updates are necessary to ensure accuracy, applicants can contact the relevant data-owning agencies or district-level One Stop Service (OSS) centers, which provide assistance and facilitation until 20 September 2026.
The public can track the status of their rights review requests via the State Welfare Registration Project websites https://welfare.mof.go.th or https://บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th. The Ministry of Finance will announce the official review results on 30 September 2026. Those who pass eligibility verification and complete e-KYC will be able to start using their welfare benefits from 1 October 2026 onward.
