On 26 August 2026, the Gold Traders Association reported that at the first update at 9:00 a.m., prices rose by 250 baht, resulting in "gold bar prices" being bought at 71,900 baht and sold at 72,100 baht per baht weight, while "ornamental gold prices" were bought at 70,463.68 baht and sold at 72,900 baht per baht weight. Gold price for 1 baht Based on the gold weight: 1 baht gold bar weighs 15.244 grams and 1 baht ornamental gold weighs 15.16 grams.
Gold price for 2 salueng or 50 satang gold, buy and sell prices are based on these weights: 2 salueng gold bar weighs 7.622 grams, and 2 salueng ornamental gold weighs 7.58 grams.
Gold price for 1 salueng Buy and sell prices are based on these weights: 1 salueng gold bar weighs 3.812 grams, and ornamental gold weighs 3.79 grams.
Gold price for half salueng Buy and sell prices are based on these weights: half salueng gold bar weighs 1.905 grams, and half salueng ornamental gold weighs 1.89 grams.
These prices exclude the manufacturing fee and may change according to announcements by the Gold Traders Association. Please confirm with gold shop staff.
However, reporters note that from market open until 11:00 a.m., the Gold Traders Association reported nine price adjustments, with the latest ninth adjustment at 10:47 a.m. "Gold bar prices" were bought at 71,700 baht and sold at 71,900 baht per baht weight, while "ornamental gold prices" were bought at 70,266.60 baht and sold at 72,700 baht per baht weight.
