On 28 August 2026, the Gold Traders Association reported that at 9:08 a.m., gold prices rose by 50 baht, resulting in "gold bar prices" buying at 71,200 baht per baht-weight and selling at 71,400 baht per baht-weight, while "gold ornament prices" buying at 69,781.48 baht per baht-weight and selling at 72,200 baht per baht-weight. Gold price for 1 baht Based on the gold weight as follows: gold bar 1 baht weighs 15.244 grams, and gold ornament 1 baht weighs 15.16 grams.
Gold price for 2 salung or 50 satang gold, buying and selling prices reference the following weights: gold bar 2 salung weighs 7.622 grams, and gold ornament 2 salung weighs 7.58 grams.
Gold price for 1 salung Buying and selling prices reference the following weights: gold bar 1 salung weighs 3.812 grams, and gold ornament weighs 3.79 grams.
