WebsiteThe Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announces the necessity to suspend power supply in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Saturday, 29 Aug 2026, to develop and maintain the electrical distribution system for greater efficiency and to install equipment transitioning the power system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during operations, MEA must temporarily cut power supply to several areas as listed below.

• Nuanchan Road, Nuanchan Soi 5, from 08:00 to 15:30.
• Along Banthat Thong Road, from the entrance of Chula Soi 12 to Rama 1 Road, from 08:00 to 13:30.
• Along Rama 6 Road 13, from 08:00 to 13:30.
• Along the roads near Wat Boromniwas and Bobae Market, from 08:00 to 13:30.
• Along Rong Muang 5 Road near Rong Muang Post Office, from 08:00 to 13:30.
• Along Banthat Thong Road from the entrance of Chula Soi 12 to Banthat Thong Road, from 08:00 to 13:30.
• Liab Khlong 2 Road, Liab Khlong 2 Soi 19, Manoom 4 Village, power outage near the shophouses opposite the Tourism College and nearby, from 08:30 to 15:30.
