Website of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)Announcement: It is necessary to temporarily cut power in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Monday, 31 August 2026 to improve or maintain the electrical distribution system for better efficiency and to install equipment to convert overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during the work, the MEA will temporarily suspend power supply in several areas as follows.

Power outage on 31 August 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Phetkasem Road, Soi Phetkasem 16, from 08:30 to 11:30.
• Srinakarin Road, Soi Seri Villa Village, Intersection 9 (Srinakarin 55), from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Sukhumvit 23 low voltage, at the end of Sukhumvit 23 Soi, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Along Lat Phrao Road, from Lat Phrao 81 to Biz Town, from 09:00 to 15:00.
• Rom Klao Road, Soi Rom Klao 21, from 09:30 to 13:00.
• Pradit Manutham Road, Soi Sirithawara, from 10:00 to 12:00.
