
A final reminder: today, 31 Aug, is the last day to submit a review request for the 2026 "State Welfare Card" or "Poor People's Card" eligibility. If approved, what are the next steps and when can the benefits be used?
On 31 Aug 2026, the Ministry of Finance reminded that today is the final day to submit a review request for the 2026 State Welfare Card registration program. Those who registered for the 2026 card and find they "do not meet eligibility" but wish to have their qualifications reassessed can submit a review through four channels as follows.
1. Project website (online channel open until 11:00 p.m. on 31 Aug 2026)
2. Paotang application
3. Government apps
4. Registration units at five banks (during bank working hours)
1. After submitting the review request You will be informed of the specific eligibility criteria not met and the verification unit responsible. If document correction is required, it must be done at the assigned verification unit as indicated in the system.Corrections must be completed by 20 Sep 2026.
2. Identity verification (e-KYC) final deadline is 12 Jan 2027.
Identity verification (e-KYC) can be done via the Paotang app and Krung Thai Bank until12 Jan 2027.Additionally, registration units at the five banks—Krung Thai, Government Savings Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank—accept e-KYC until14 Oct 2026.
3. Using the benefits State Welfare Cardholders for 2026, including new, existing, and those approved after review, can start using their benefits simultaneouslyon 1 Oct 2026.Benefits can be accessed via the national ID card and the Paotang app.
