On 2 September 2026, the Gold Traders Association reported that at the first price update at 9:03 a.m., the gold price dropped by 1,150 baht, resulting in: The "gold bar price" buying at 67,700 baht per baht-weight and selling at 67,900 baht per baht-weight, while the "gold ornament price" buys at 66,340.16 baht and sells at 68,700 baht per baht-weight. Gold price for 1 baht-weight Based on gold weights: 1 baht gold bar weighs 15.244 grams, and 1 baht gold ornament weighs 15.16 grams.
Gold price for 2 salueng or 50 satang gold, buying and selling prices are referenced based on the following weights: gold bar 2 salueng weighs 7.622 grams, and gold ornament 2 salueng weighs 7.58 grams.
Gold price for 1 salueng Buying and selling prices are referenced based on the following weights: gold bar 1 salueng weighs 3.812 grams, and gold ornament weighs 3.79 grams.
Gold price for half salueng Buying and selling prices are referenced based on the following weights: gold bar half salueng weighs 1.905 grams, and gold ornament half salueng weighs 1.89 grams.

However, reporters noted that after the market opened until 11:10 a.m., the Gold Traders Association reported 12 price adjustments. The latest at 11:04 a.m. showed the "gold bar" buying price at 67,750 baht and selling at 67,950 baht per baht-weight, while the "gold ornament" buying price was 66,400.80 baht and selling at 68,750 baht per baht-weight.
