WebsiteThe Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)announced the necessity to suspend power supply in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Sunday, 6 September 2026, to develop and maintain the electrical system for greater efficiency and to install equipment converting overhead power lines to underground cables. For safety during operations, MEA will temporarily cut power in several specific areas as follows.

• Ratchadaphisek Road, from the alley behind Central Rama 3, from 08:00 to 15:30.
• Phutthabucha Road (Phutthabucha Soi 36), at Mini Factory alley, from 08:00 to 16:00.
• Along Thesaban Nimit Nuea 8 Road, from Thesaban Rang Rak Nuea 8 to the same area, from 08:00 to 15:00.
• Ratthapattana Road, Wayra Soi, at the Wayra project commercial building, from 08:30 to 15:30.
