Metropolitan Waterworks Authority Announces Water Outage and Low Pressure Areas on 7 September 2026: Check Affected Locations

The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) announced areas experiencing “no water flow and low water pressure” on 7 September 2026. Check which areas will be affected.

Reporters have noted that the websiteof the Metropolitan Waterworks AuthorityorMWAhas announced areas with water outages and low water pressure on 7 September 2026, due to maintenance of water pipes, cutting pipe connections, pressure adjustments, and temporary stoppage of pumping stations and water treatment plants, with the following details.

Notification of water outages on 7 September 2026 at work sites (covering Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan areas).

1. Ekachai Soi 131, Phrom Daen intersection.

• From 10:00 to 16:00, pipe connection cut-off, pipe size: 300 AC.
• Affected areas: Ekachai, Ekachai 131.

2. Sam Wang Curve.

• From 20:00 on 7 September 2026 until 00:00 on 8 September 2026, DMA system operations, pipe size: 300 AC.
• Affected areas: Bang Kruai - Sai Noi.

3. Temporary water supply stoppage to improve the main pipe system, 1000 mm diameter, at Bangprom Canal, Ratchaphruek Road.

• From 22:00 on 7 September 2026 until 05:00 on 8 September 2026, due to pipe break and leak, pipe size: 1000 ST.
• Affected areas: water flow weak to none on both sides of Ratchaphruek Road, from Bangprom Canal to Bang Ramad Canal; odd-numbered side of Bangprom Road from Bangprom Soi 1 to Soi 19; even-numbered side of Bangprom Road from Soi 2 to Soi 26; and Intravas Road.

4. Khlong Rong Nam Mon, Sathu Soi 58, even-numbered side near the intersection.

• From 22:00 on 7 September 2026 until 05:00 on 8 September 2026, DMA system operations.
• Affected areas: Sathu Road even-numbered side from Khlong Rong Nam Mon to Sathupradit Road; Sathu Soi 58 Intersection 2; and Sathu Soi 52.

5. Temporary water stoppage for valve repairs on the water pipe at Kingkaew Road intersecting Bangna-Trad Road.

• From 22:00 on 7 September 2026 until 05:00 on 8 September 2026, due to pipe break and leak, pipe size: 1000 ST.
• Affected areas: water flow weak to none on both sides of Bangna-Trad Road from the intersection with Wat Sriwaree Noi Road to Sri Iam intersection; both sides of Wat Sriwaree Noi Road from the intersection with Bangna-Trad Road to Khlong Bang Nam Chuet; both sides of Bangna-Trad Road from the intersection with Srinakarin Road to Khlong Bang Kaeo Yai; Ramkhamhaeng 2 Road; Bu Nakharin Road; Nam Daeng Road odd-numbered side from Nam Daeng-Bang Phli Sois 23 to 45; Nam Daeng Road even-numbered side from Wat Nam Daeng to Nam Daeng-Bang Phli Soi 58.
