The Thai Red Cross Society pays tribute and mourns Dr. Ketchuda Makrod (Doctor Joo), an emergency medicine specialist at Sanchaiket Field Hospital.

A few days earlier, while Doctor Joo was fully attending to patients, she suddenly fell critically ill and her condition worsened. Amid deep sorrow and the hardest times, her family showed strength by decisively choosing to donate her organs to pass on new life to patients still awaiting hope.

The family’s firm decision on that day has led to Doctor Joo’s kidney, eyes, heart valve, skin, and bone being delivered to save the lives of multiple transplant recipients.

Doctor Joo’s passing brings great mourning, yet simultaneously creates miracles for many others to continue living. Although she is no longer here, her good deeds will be remembered for a very long time. Recipients will always recall that someone once gave them a new breath of life. Doctor Joo will be remembered not only as 'Joo Ketchuda,' a beloved daughter, a dear friend, and a dedicated doctor, but also as a true giver of new life forever.

The Thai Red Cross Society expresses deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Ketchuda Makrod, wishing that the merit from saving others’ lives will guide Doctor Joo’s soul to peaceful rest in the afterlife."
