Most recently, on 8 Sep 2025 GMT+7, on Facebook,Dr. Bow,the famous elephant veterinarian, posted a deeply sorrowful message about "Pang Bua Sawan," stating she has set off on a long journey, dear Bua.
Previously, Bow cared for Nong Bua Sawan for five years before moving away. We truly bonded deeply, and even now, small memories of her keep returning in my thoughts.
I remember when I treated her wounds and she blew water at me.
I remember when she called out "Ja Ja" asking for Vitamilk.
I remember when she hugged my legs whenever she was scared.
I remember teaching her to fake sleep.
I remember making her a birthday cake and seeing her eyes light up.
I remember singing Happy Birthday to her… though I cried every time.
I remember her little trunk that liked to snatch food from my mouth.
Today, I miss you very much, Bua.
You’ve gone far away now, so please take good care of yourself.
May this journey take you to a warm, safe, and happy place.
No matter how far apart we are, the memories of the five years we shared will always remain in my heart.
Love and miss you always, dear Bua. RIP.
Thank you for the information from Dr. Bow's Facebook.
