Regarding the fire at Ban Phaeo Hospital in Samut Sakhon, the Facebook page Fire & Rescue Thailand reported that at 18:00 on 13 September 2026, they received a report of a fire inside the hospital. The fire originated in the Chalermprakiet Building on the first floor, in the physical therapy room. Authorities have been urgently evacuating patients.
The latest update at about 19:15 reports that the fire is out, though smoke remains. Officials continue spraying water to control the fire and temperature to prevent re-ignition. Further details are under investigation.
