Royal Gazette Announces 4 Baht Diesel Price Cut at Refineries

"Royal Gazette" Announces a 4.00 baht per liter price reduction at refineries for high-speed diesel, effective from 16 September to 31 October 2026.

Due to ongoing unresolved conflicts in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, there is a direct impact on the global supply of crude oil and refined products. This situation causes continued high volatility in domestic fuel prices. To address and prevent fuel shortages, the Energy Policy Administration Committee, in its 12/2569 meeting on 14 September 2026, approved a refinery price reduction of 4.00 baht per liter for high-speed diesel, effective from 16 September 2026 to 31 October 2026.

Under the authority granted by Section 3 (1) of the Fuel Shortage Prevention and Mitigation Act B.E. 2516 and Section 3 (1) of the Prime Minister’s Order No. 15/2562 dated 4 October 2019 regarding measures to address and prevent fuel shortages, the Energy Policy Administration Committee issues the following announcement.

Clause 1: Repeal the previous announcement by the Energy Policy Administration Committee dated 9 September 2026 concerning the refinery price reduction for high-speed diesel.

Clause 2: Implement a refinery price reduction for high-speed diesel from 16 September 2026 to 31 October 2026 as follows.

(1) Refinery price for high-speed diesel B0 reduced by 4.00 baht per liter.

(2) Refinery price for regular high-speed diesel B reduced by 4.00 baht per liter.

(3) Refinery price for high-speed diesel B20 reduced by 4.00 baht per liter.

This takes effect from 16 September 2026 onwards. The announcement dated 15 September 2026 was signed by Wattanapong Kurovat, Director of the Energy Policy and Planning Office.
