MEA Announces Power Outages Tomorrow, 20 September 2026, at Multiple Locations in Bangkok and Samut Prakan

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has announced power outages tomorrow, 20 September 2026, at several locations in Bangkok and Samut Prakan, with some outages lasting from morning until afternoon.

The MEA website announced a necessary power suspension in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan on Sunday, 20 September 2026, to develop and maintain the electricity supply system for improved efficiency, and to install equipment to convert the electrical system from overhead lines to underground cables. For safety during work, MEA will temporarily cut power at multiple locations as follows.

Power outages on 20 September 2026 in Bangkok

• Along Tha Din Daeng Road, WLT0122 and WLT0123 areas, from the mouth of Tha Din Daeng Soi 18 to inside Tha Din Daeng Soi 18, from 08:00 to 13:00.
• Therdthai Road, from Soi Therdthai 19 along the entire stretch, from 08:00 to 15:30.
• Along Mu Ban DK Road, from Soi DK 9 to Soi DK 17, including Soi DK 14, beside Adisak Electricity office, and nearby areas, from 08:00 to 15:30.
• Serithai Road, at the mouth of Serithai Soi 59 and nearby areas, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Srinakarin Road, at the end of Park Avenue Village Soi, from 08:30 to 15:30.
• Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Road, at Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Soi 7, Intersection 4, from 08:30 to 15:30.
