The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) announces areas experiencing "no water flow or low water pressure" on 22 September 2026. Check which areas will be affected.


A reporter stated that the websiteMetropolitan Waterworks AuthorityorMWAhas announced areas with no water flow or low water pressure on 22 September 2026 due to water pipe maintenance, pipeline joint cutting, pressure improvements, and temporary suspension for pump station and water treatment plant upgrades, with details as follows.

Announcement of water outages on 22 September 2026 at operational sites (covering Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan).

1. Lat Phrao 26

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 300 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Lat Phrao, water cut off in Lat Phrao 26 soi.


2. Pridi Banomyong 33

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 150 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: From the mouth of Pridi Banomyong 25 soi to Pridi Banomyong 35 soi (water cut off in all sois except Pridi Banomyong 31).


3. Phetkasem Soi 54

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 200 mm ST.
  • Affected area: Phetkasem Soi 54, water cut off from Bang Chak canal to the end of Phetkasem Soi 54, including all sub-sois.


4. Thian Thale Road, Sam Yaek Pu

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 300 mm AC.
  • Affected area: Thian Thale Road from Sahakorn 1 canal to Phitthayalongkorn canal, entire section.


5. Taksin Road Soi 7

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 150 mm AC.
  • Affected area: Taksin Road from the mouth of Taksin 5 soi to Krung Thonburi Road intersection, entire section.


6. Tha Kham 28 Village Phisan

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 200 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Tha Kham Road, Phisan Village from Phisan 11 soi to Phisan 14 soi, entire section.


7. Yoo Charoen Village 29

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 100 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Ratchada, Yoo Charoen Village 29.


8. Rama 9 Soi 26

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 300 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Rama 9, Rama 9 Soi 26.


9. Ratchadaphisek Road, work site at Chan Mueang Soi

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 200 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: No water flow in Chan Mueang Soi 2 to 16 and Ratchadaphisek Road from Soi 3 to Ratchadaphisek 3 Intersection 18.


10. Nonthaburi Soi 27

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 150 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Right side of Sanambin Nam Road from Tiwanon Road, from the Army Quartermaster Fuel Depot to the government officials’ residences (entire section).


11. Pobsuk Village Soi 2-7

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 100 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Entire Pobsuk Village area.


12. Pak Kret Bypass Road Soi 31

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 200 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Left side of the Pak Kret Bypass Road from Tiwanon to Pak Kret, from Pak Kret Bypass Soi 23 to Sailom Village (entire section).


13. Nonthaburi Soi 33

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 200 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Right side of Sanambin Nam Road from Tiwanon Road, from the Army Quartermaster Fuel Depot to government officials’ residences (entire section).


14. Pattanakarn Soi 30

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 300 mm AC.
  • Affected area: Pattanakarn Road, right side of Pattanakarn Soi 30 to Tawan Thong intersection, entire section.


15. Laddawan Village, Ratchaphruek Road

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 300 mm AC.
  • Affected area: Ratchaphruek Road, Laddawan Nuntawan Village.


16. Lat Phrao Wanghin Soi 75

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., pipeline joint cut, pipe size: 300 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Lat Phrao Wanghin, Lat Phrao Wanghin Soi 57-75.


17. Seri Villa Village Intersection 7

  • Affected area: 1. Srinakarin Road odd side from Khlong Ta Chang to Si Udom intersection; 2. Chalerm Phrakiat R.9 Road odd side from Si Udom intersection to Nong Bon canal.


40. Tesaban Songkhro Road in front of Bong Marche Market

  • From 10:00 p.m. on 22 September to 4:00 a.m. on 23 September 2026, water meter installation, pipe size: 300 mm PVC.
  • Affected area: Tesaban Songkhro Road from Asia Aluminum and Glass Company to the water canal, including Tesaban Rangsang Tai, Tesaban Rang Rak Tai, Tesaban Naramal, Tesaban Nimit Tai, and Sinphatthanathani Village.


41. Near Chao Phraya Village

  • From 10:00 p.m. on 22 September to 4:00 a.m. on 23 September 2026, water meter installation, pipe size: 300 mm ST.
  • Affected area: Bang Kruai-Sai Noi and Bang Len districts.


42. Khlong Bang Ranae, Kanlapaphruek Road

  • From 10:00 p.m. on 22 September to 5:00 a.m. on 23 September 2026, closure of main water pipe gate, pipe size: 1000 mm.
  • Affected area: Resulting in low to no water flow on Kanlapaphruek Road from Ratchaphruek Interchange to Khlong Ratchamontri; Thoed Thai Road from Ratchaphruek Intersection to Khlong Ratchamontri (odd side sois 57-83, even side sois 48-90); Kamnan Maen Road (odd side sois 7-15, even side sois 26-36); and Sal Thonburi Road.
