Regarding the incident at 16:14 on 26 Sep 2026 GMT+7, the Red Line commuter trains on both routes, Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal - Rangsit Station and Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal - Taling Chan Station, experienced a technical malfunction, causing a temporary suspension of service to conduct safety inspections as previously reported.
Most recently, at 20:00 GMT+7, the Facebook pageRED Line SRTETposted an update stating, "Notice: The Red Line commuter trains on both routes, Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal - Rangsit Station and Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal - Taling Chan Station, have now resumed operations according to the regular timetable."
