Recently, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announced the cancellation of the planned power outages for maintenance and system improvements on 27 Sep 2026 across all service areas in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan. This action aims to ease public difficulties due to flood conditions, reduce the impact on daily electricity usage, and support electricity use in coping with the flooding situation.
MEA prioritizes public safety and well-being by deploying staff to closely monitor and maintain the electrical system. Residents can report electrical faults or unsafe electrical equipment to the MEA Call Center at 1130, available 24 hours a day.
