Free Expressway on All 8 Routes Extended Until 24:00 on 29 Sep 2026

The Expressway Authority of Thailand extends the period without collecting toll fees on all 8 routes continuously until 24:00 on 29 September 2026

At 15:30 on 27 September 2026, the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), Ministry of Transport, announced that due to heavy rain and flooding in many areas still affecting people's travel, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has expressed concern for those affected by the flood situation and ordered urgent measures to assist and alleviate public hardship.

Therefore, EXAT has extended the toll-free period on expressways due to the emergency flood situation to facilitate travel and reduce impact on the public. Originally, EXAT waived tolls from 13:00 on 26 September 2026 until 24:00 on 27 September 2026. This period is now extended until 24:00 on 29 September 2026 to ease hardship and facilitate travel on all 8 expressway routes, namely:

• Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway (Expressway Phase 1)
• Si Rat Expressway (Expressway Phase 2)
• Chalong Rat Expressway (Ramintra–At Narong and Outer Ring Road sections)
• Burapha Withi Expressway (Bangna–Chonburi section)
• Udon Ratthaya Expressway (Bang Pa-in–Pak Kret section)
• Bangna–At Narong Expressway (S1)
• Kanchanaphisek Expressway (Bang Phli–Suksawat section)
• Prachim Ratthaya Expressway (Si Rat–Outer Bangkok Ring Road section)

EXAT, together with Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), has assigned staff to monitor and facilitate traffic along the routes closely. The public is advised to continuously check updates on affected expressway entry and exit points for travel planning and route selection.

EXAT expresses concern for all road users and urges them to exercise increased caution while traveling, follow staff instructions, and monitor traffic information through EXAT's communication channels continuously for safe and convenient travel.
