Following the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation's (DDPM) opening for the public to register through the government app to apply for disaster relief compensation, based on the Cabinet's resolution to assist flood victims during the 2026 rainy season, or to apply at local administrative organizations or district offices in Bangkok.
By Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has opened an additional channel to apply for supplementary relief funds for residents in Bangkok affected by flooding. Flood victims can apply for assistance from two sources:
1. Initial living expense assistance from the government according to the Cabinet's resolution.
Applications are made online via the "government app," with compensation up to 9,000 baht (if qualifying damage criteria are met).
2. Compensation for damage and repair costs according to Bangkok Metropolitan Administration regulations.
Applications are made online via the websiteclaim.bangkok.go.thBMA provides compensation based on actual damage, such as initial living expenses, repair materials for residences, and other assistance, evaluated according to damage and prescribed criteria.
If you are eligible and wish to receive assistance from both sources, you must register and apply separately through both channels (the government app and claim.bangkok.go.th website) or apply simultaneously in person at the district office according to your registered address affected by flooding (Monday to Friday during office hours).

2. Click the "Check Eligibility" menu.
3. Complete the 6-question questionnaire.
4. The system will display your "Eligible Benefits."
5. Then click "Next" to proceed to document preparation.
6. Upload all required documents and evidence as specified.
** For those without land deeds, mismatched deed names, or permanent residences without house numbers, it is recommended to apply in person at the district office. **
7. When all documents are complete, click "Submit Application."
8. Wait for the district to review and approve your assistance.
9. Applications can be submitted from 2 October onward, within 30 days from the date of the disaster.
