On 5 Oct 2026 GMT+7, reports emerged after a woman sought justice on the 'Hon Krasae' program. She claimed her son and daughter-in-law forcibly placed her in an elderly care center unwillingly for over two and a half years, where she was abused, threatened, and forced to take medicine before secretly contacting her sister for help to escape.
Authorities later visited the site and found the elderly and dependent care center surrounded by metal fences resembling prison bars, with barbed wire installed around the perimeter. Most heartbreaking was the discovery of metal cages attached to the beds where many elderly and patients were lying.
