Mae Phat Tearfully Reveals Living Conditions at Elderly Care Center, Detained in a Cage for Years

Tearfully reveals her story "Mae Phat" She exposes the living conditions inside the elderly care center and shows marks she made as proof that she was confined in a cage for over a year.

Regarding the case on 5 Oct 2026, a woman requested justice on the "Hon Krasae" program claiming she was taken by her son and daughter-in-law to an elderly care center against her will for more than two and a half years, where she was abused, threatened, and forced to take medication, before secretly contacting her sister for help, as previously reported.(Very distressing: "Central Investigation Police" reveal images of the "elderly care center" after complaints of abuse)

On 6 Oct 2026, reporters reported that "Mae Phat" appeared on the "Hon Krasae" program along with her daughter and sister, while on the other side were her son, his wife, and the wife's younger brother. They showed images of an elderly care center in Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province, which has multiple layers of bars and razor wire to prevent escape.

Mr. Ekaphop Luangprasert, known as "Ek Sai Mai Tong Rod," said it looked less like an elderly care center and more like a detention facility or prison for the innocent. He personally viewed the place as wrong because the owner claimed it was an elderly care center but used terms like patient care. In reality, the center does not have doctors or dispense medication.

"Mae Phat," her voice trembling, described her living conditions at the center: she had to stay in a solitary room resembling a cage. When shown footage recorded by reporters, she confirmed she was indeed kept in that room, having only had air conditioning when relatives came to pick her up. She said she had been placed in Zone 3 before knowing her son was coming to collect her.

She continued that she was confined in what she called a "dog cage" for about 11 months, with a rusty bed and only a round detergent bucket provided as a toilet, without water, and only one roll of tissue paper every three days.

Mae Phat made marks in the room to confirm she had truly been confined there because when she learned relatives were coming to get her, she made these marks as evidence, anticipating denial from the center.

She further explained that at first she did not understand why she was suddenly beaten, starved, and punished. After being helped out, she realized that every time her daughter or sister tried to contact a lawyer or help her, the center would punish her, which explained why she was beaten and starved whenever someone reached out for assistance.
