WebsiteMetropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA)has announced the necessity to temporarily cut power in areas of Bangkok and Samut Prakan on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, to upgrade and maintain the electrical distribution system for improved efficiency and to install equipment to replace overhead power lines with underground cables.

To ensure safety during these operations, MEA must temporarily suspend power supply in multiple locations as follows.

• Ramkhamhaeng Road 112, Samakorn 1 Alley A2 from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Ramkhamhaeng Road, Samakorn Condo Alley and nearby areas from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Sirindhorn Road, Sirindhorn Road edge alley only in announced areas from 08:30 to 11:30.
• Pho Kaeo Road, Pho Kaeo 3 Alley, intersections 11-13 (end section) from 09:00 to 15:00.
• Lat Phrao Road, Lat Phrao 88/1 Alley from 09:00 to 14:00.
• Phutthabucha Road (Coal Factory Alley), Phutthabucha 9 Alley from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Theparak Road, Cement Factory Alley connecting to Watcharaphon Road from 09:00 to 12:00.
• Lat Phrao Road, Areeya Bussaba Alley (Lat Phrao 130) from 10:00 to 11:00.
