"Lawyer Ple," a legal committee member of the Good Deeds Foundation, announced her resignation, ending her work helping people. She affirmed that she was not involved with or aware of the donation funds and expressed respect and trust for "Bum Panadda." Everyone joined to help out of volunteer spirit.
Regarding the controversy over donations to the Good Deeds Foundation, led by actress, host, and beauty queen "Bum Panadda Wongpudi," which involved both the foundation's account and a personal account transferring funds to a contractor who then claimed that "Gott Athip Ananthawan," Bum Panadda's husband, instructed transferring several million baht into a personal account, sparking widespread social media criticism as previously reported.
Recently, Lawyer Ple, a close associate of Bum Panadda and legal committee member of the Good Deeds Foundation, posted on Facebook stating she wished to clarify about herself in one post.
Ple is a lawyer with bachelor's and master's degrees from Thammasat University and has passed the Thai Bar Association exam. She has maintained professional legal ethics and applied her knowledge and skills well, leading to opportunities to hold important positions.
Motivated by a desire to use her legal expertise to help society, she first connected with Bum Panadda to assist with legal matters related to sexual assault cases during Bum's work in that area. Since then, they have known each other and worked together on various social projects. When Bum invited her to help establish the Good Deeds Foundation, she assisted with registration and served on the legal committee.
Since then, she has mostly helped with legal cases whenever people sought advice or assistance, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, family issues, child cases, and other legal matters, always without charging any fees. She considered this a way to provide legal benefits to society and a form of merit-making.
During disasters, she helped pack and organize supplies, coordinated relief bags, boxed meals, and assisted with various rescue team efforts at the foundation.
Regarding foundation documents, she helped with registrations such as relocating the foundation, issuing powers of attorney, and meeting reports. Since she was very busy and raising four children, she assisted the foundation when possible. She was not involved with finances and truly did not know how much money was received or spent, as those matters were handled by Bum. She herself had even donated to the foundation. She observed ongoing construction at the foundation's spacious site, which was convenient for storing donations, vehicles, boats, and various equipment.
When the major problem arose, she was shocked and stressed as well. She trusted and respected Bum, who was always on the ground—at the border, flood areas, helping the sick, transporting bodies. Bum was always first at the scene, and Ple felt exhausted on her behalf. She never thought about money but tried to help as much as possible. Almost everyone who helped was volunteering.
Now she is trying to identify the issues, the amounts involved, and how to correct and resolve matters properly, following through on reimbursements. Ultimately, she will resign and end her volunteer work helping others. She said society is too harsh—doing good just breaks even, but mistakes lead to being trampled and criticized. She wants to focus on caring for her family and business. In the end, she must protect and fight for herself fully. She has helped many people and is confident in her own goodness and innocence, which she can prove. She vows to fight hard for her life and future.
She asks for support from friends and everyone who knows her, believing they understand her well.
She sends love to everyone.
