The action drama comedy "Love Song of the Fierce Tiger" has been hitting strong ratings since its very first episode.Love Song of the Fierce Tigerproduced by Gold CPJ Entertainment, directed by Ek Rangsiroj Phanpeng, who also stars in the drama alongside Ben Santirat Kulnopkiet playing Chaiya, a skilled young detective, paired for the first time with Jeda Saranya Chunhasart as Poona, a beautiful woman with a lovely voice who dreams of becoming a singer. Fans have praised the leading lady's singing, guaranteeing a fun mix of fighting and action, with Ris Witchayapong, Mint Porntiwa, Phon Phulapat, and famous luk thung singers Fon Thanasunthorn and Monsit Kamsroi, along with many talented actors.
The story centers on Poona (Jeda) —a talented young woman dreaming of becoming a singer, but who is sent into a music camp to secretly investigate the truth behind her parents' deaths, which may be connected to illegal activities. Meanwhile, Chaiya (Ben), a young police officer, is assigned a covert mission to infiltrate the same case. Misunderstandings arise, leading to a romance, but as they get closer to the truth, many obstacles emerge. Ben Santirat revealed,
"I play a police officer sent to suppress a drug trafficking gang in a village, undercover as a YouTuber investigating the case. This drama features lots of action scenes typical of the Achalong Phakdeewijit style, directed by Ek Rangsiroj. Since Ek has acted and worked with Achalong for a long time, his direction carries some of Achalong's signature style blended with Ek's modern and balanced touch. This drama is well-rounded and includes beautiful songs for the audience to enjoy. Did I get to sing? You'll have to watch and see. This is my first time acting opposite Jeda; we worked together before on "Crossfire," but this is our first pairing. We didn’t need much adjustment—Jeda is talented and dedicated, especially with her singing."
Jeda Saranya said, "I play Poona, who dreams of being a singer and loves to sing. She lives with her uncle, played by Ek Rangsiroj, who raised her since childhood but dislikes her involvement in music. This creates a mystery about why he forbids it, which unfolds throughout the story. Poona’s character is strong-willed, sometimes stubborn, but loving toward family and friends, with some fighting scenes. I'm very happy to work with Ben again; he is as kind as ever, and we share ideas continuously. I invite fans to watch "Love Song of the Fierce Tiger," which is entertaining and features beautiful songs. Come see if Poona achieves her dream of becoming a singer." The drama airs Monday to Friday at 7:00 p.m. on Channel 7HD, TV channel 35.
