From the legendary love story “Or Chao” to a new dimension of cross-time romance in the BL (Boy’s Love) version! The drama "Love Destiny," adapted from Rompaeng's work, is reinterpreted in the 2026 multiverse series "Love Destiny" produced by CUU Thailand. Led by producer Boom Phlatphon Mingpornphichit and original director Mai-Phawat Panangkhasiri, it is directed as a ROMANTIC COMEDY in MODERN PERIOD style, starring two hot young actors, August Wachirawich Paisarnkulwong and Leng Thanapon Usinsap, igniting a cross-time love story that shakes all of Siam.
Amid the chemistry that fans enthusiastically affirm as "spot on" between this couple, the production invests heavily in scenes, visuals, costumes, and hairstyles, matching the original version’s quality. This version adds triple the delight with two more couples intensifying the forbidden love and tenderness: "Pho Rueng" (Na-Napat Wikaayroongroj) with "Pho Wad" (Win Thanapon Ukawongseree) and "Ai Phin" (Thun-Thunthorn Wiwatnadecha) with "Ai Yam" (Fay Chintapp Duangkaew). The cast also features many veteran actors such as Jaturong Mokjok, Chef Pom-Mom Luang Kwanthip, Anna Suengnamiam, Luke Ishikawa, Thisa Waritthisa, Ice Phanuwat, Mawin Taweepol, Gunner Natthakorn, and Jeab Nontiya. This is the "Love Destiny" BL version.
The story begins after an accident where "Great" (Leng Thanapon), a young surgeon from 2026, wakes up in the body of "Pho Kaew," a man from Ayutthaya during King Narai’s reign. In this unfamiliar past world, he tries to change his life and atone for the mistakes of the original body’s owner, causing "Pho Det" (August Wachirawich), a former enemy who once hated him, to start seeing him differently. Their bond gradually grows into love amid the era’s constraints and unpredictable fate.
"August and Leng," excited about their first period drama, revealed, “This is my first period piece. I think everyone will see me doing something different. Wearing period costumes and living like people of the past is very intriguing. August’s role is quite different because, being period, the language and acting as someone from that era is something I’ve never done before. It required preparation like horse riding and fencing lessons, and memorizing language usage. We were fortunate that our original director Mai from the first version returned, allowing us to learn many details and make each scene complete. It’s an honor to work with Mai and thanks to CUU Thailand for acquiring the rights and entrusting us with these roles.” The series airs every Tuesday at 22:30 on Channel 3 HD, with the Uncut version at 23:00 on the iQIYI app and website.iQ.com
