Get ready to pack your bags and journey to Koh Sawan with “Shark–Praewa” in the drama “Ubati Rak Koh Sawan,” a fantasy adventure action-romantic comedy from Ahalong Group. Don’t miss their struggle to overcome obstacles through dense forest on Koh Sawan. A key scene unfolds after “Shark” (Ryu Wachirawit) brings “Praewa” (Pai Rinrada) to Koh Sawan to check out a spot for building a homestay. The two repair and clean Shark’s grandfather’s house. Shark guides Praewa to live off the island by fishing and using water from natural sources, but Praewa accidentally spills all the water. Shark and Praewa go back to get water from the waterfall before dark, passing through forest and rocky cliffs. Shark warns Praewa to walk carefully, but before he can finish, Praewa slips. Shark quickly grabs her and they tumble together. Amid the chaotic rolling, Shark and Praewa share their first kiss before falling into the waterfall amid the strong currents.
This continuous adventure scene was filmed in various locations, starting on a hot sunlit rocky cliff. After blocking and rehearsing, both Ryu and Pai performed rolling on safety mats and real rocks, completing the shots in just a few takes. Then filming continued at the waterfall scene, where both actors tumbled down and got separated. They grabbed each other’s hands as scripted to protect one another amid the cold rushing water. Although filming was challenging, it was closely supervised by the crew and the actors wore safety gear to ensure their protection. Both Ryu and Pai showed full dedication and spirit in performing all scenes. Catch the episode this Wednesday at 8:30 PM on Channel 3, channel 33.
