Timeline for the 2026 Election: Check Early Voting Dates and Official Result Announcement

The 2026 election timeline is now open. Check the early voting dates both inside and outside electoral districts before heading to the polls to elect MPs in your area on 8 Feb 2026. Also, watch for the date when the Election Commission officially announces the election results.

After Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul officially announced the dissolution of parliament, the Election Commission (EC) declared the election date and set the related schedule as follows.



20 Dec 2025 – 5 Jan 2026

Register to request early voting rights.




27–31 Dec 2025

Register MP candidates for constituency seats.




28–31 Dec 2025

- Submit the list of party-list MP candidates.

- Announce the names of prime ministerial candidates.




1 Feb 2026

- Early voting day inside and outside electoral districts.

- Voting day at polling stations for persons with disabilities, the bedridden, and seniors.




1–7 Feb 2026

Report reasons for not voting.




8 Feb 2026

General election day for MPs.




9–15 Feb 2026

Report reasons for not voting after the election.



9 Apr 2026

Final day for the EC to announce official election results.
