A comparison of marriage and divorce registrations in 2025 shows the top 5 provinces with the highest records. Bangkok had 40,231 marriages registered but also recorded 15,118 divorces. Chonburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Rayong followed with high statistics respectively. Interestingly, the province ranked fifth for divorces is Samut Prakan, while Chiang Mai ranks fifth for marriages. Although the number of marriages exceeds divorces, the birth rate continues to decline.
