Comparing Fuel Prices: How High Could They Rise Without the Energy Fund?

How high could fuel prices surge per liter without the Energy Fund's price support? Following Thailand's continued energy shortages, diesel prices are set to increase by 0.50 baht per liter tomorrow (18 Mar 2026), with the price ceiling adjusted up to 33 baht. However, without fund subsidies, prices could spike to as high as 50 baht per liter.
