Registration steps to request early voting and voting outside the kingdom via the Smart Vote application start from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026, available 24 hours a day.
The Election Commission has announced that from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026 is the registration period to request early voting rights outside the electoral district and outside the kingdom.
Registration for early voting rights can be done through the Smart Vote application 24 hours a day without the need to submit documents or supporting evidence.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartvote&hl=thThe steps are as follows:
1. Select the MP election menu, then choose the menu for voting methods before election day.
2. Select the outside electoral district menu, then choose online registration, followed by registering to use voting rights outside the district.
3. Log in and fill in all required information accurately: ID number, back of ID card number, full name, date of birth, or passport number, then click to verify the information.
4. Verify that the displayed full name, province, and voting eligibility details are correct, then select the province and location where you wish to vote. After completing the selections, click save.
5. Click to confirm the registration.
6. After successful registration, the system will display a confirmation receipt as proof of registration, which you can print or save as a file to use when voting outside your electoral district.
1. Select the outside the kingdom menu, then choose online registration, followed by registering to request early voting rights outside the kingdom.
2. Log in and enter all required information accurately: ID number, card code, full name, date of birth, passport number, then click to verify the information.
3. Enter the overseas voting registration page, where the system will display the registrant's data. Complete the information for requesting overseas early voting rights.
4. Click the agree button; the system will show a confirmation window. Click yes to confirm saving the data and proceed to the document printing page, or no to close the confirmation window.
5. On the document printing page, you can click the print button to print the PDF documents for the registration request, request to change overseas voting rights, or to return to voting rights in Thailand.
