10 Steps to Voting Rights on 8 Feb 2026

Steps for voting in the constituency MP election (green card), party-list election (pink card), and the 2017 constitutional amendment referendum (yellow card) on Sunday, 8 February 2026, from 08:00 to 17:00 at the polling station where the voter is registered by residence.

Step 1. Verify your name and the location of your voting booth.

Voters can check the following information:

1. Household notification letter sent by the Election Commission (EC) to your home.

2. Check online at https://www.bora.dopa.go.th/ or via the Smart Vote application.

3. Visit the district office, district office branch, or subdistrict administrative office in person.

Regarding the voter lists posted at polling stations, there are two sets:

- The voter list for the MP election.

- The voter list for the referendum.

Officials will be available to assist and inform voters of their assigned number.

2. Preparing before entering the voting booth.

Locate and remember your assigned number on the list posted at the entrance of the polling booth.

Prepare your identification documents, such as:

National ID card (expired ones are accepted).

Other official photo IDs with a valid 13-digit personal number (must not be expired), such as driver's license, passport, or government official ID.

The ThaiD app, DLT QR Licence, or disability ID card.

3. Verify identity to vote in the MP election.

Present your identification and state your assigned number to the election committee at the polling station.

Sign or fingerprint on the MP voter list.

Sign the stub of the ballot paper.

4. After signing or fingerprinting the ballot paper stub, you will receive two ballot papers:

Constituency ballot paper (green).

Party-list ballot paper (pink).

(At this stage, you will not yet receive the yellow referendum ballot paper.)

You will also get back your ID or identification documents from the officials.

5. Enter the booth to cast your MP votes.

- Mark an X on both ballot papers.

- On the green card (constituency MP), select only one candidate.

- On the pink card (party list), select only one political party.

- If you choose not to vote, mark an X in the "no candidate selected" or "no party selected" box accordingly.

If you mark an X for a candidate or party and also mark an X in the "no candidate selected" or "no party selected" box on the same ballot, that ballot will be considered spoiled.

- Fold the ballots along the crease and exit the booth. Taking photos, videos, or showing your marked ballots to others is prohibited.

6. Deposit your ballots into the ballot boxes.

- Insert your folded constituency and party-list ballots into the correctly color-coded ballot boxes yourself.

7. Verify identity to vote in the referendum.

- After depositing your MP ballots, proceed to the referendum voting area.

- Present your identification and state your number on the referendum voter list.

8. Sign the referendum ballot stub and receive the ballot paper.

- Sign or fingerprint on the referendum voter list.

- Sign or fingerprint on the referendum ballot stub.

- Receive one referendum ballot paper along with your ID or identification documents returned by the officials.

9. Enter the booth to cast your referendum vote.

- Mark an X in only one box:

• Approve

• Disapprove

• No opinion

- Fold the ballot paper along the crease and exit the booth.

10. Deposit the referendum ballot and leave the polling station.

- Insert your folded referendum ballot paper into the ballot box yourself.

- Leave the polling station via the designated exit.
