The drama involving "Suea Dusit" has him admitting to excessive force in assaulting a man, prompting the victim's son to post about it and causing a wave of criticism on social media.
Suea Dusit is a dark-themed net idol known for content about rough and repentant gangsters. He made headlines years ago for raiding a gambling den in Sai Mai district. He has since become an influencer and promotes various products.
The assault case began when Suea Dusit physically attacked a man as follows.
Suea Dusit and three others assaulted a 53-year-old man severely at a restaurant in the Sanambin Nam area, Nonthaburi province.
The victim fell into a coma with 12 broken ribs, a punctured lung, damaged spleen and kidney, plus blood clots in the lung, requiring hospital staff to perform CPR to save his life.
Suea Dusit claimed the reason was jealousy after the man allegedly groped his girlfriend's buttocks, which led to the assault.
The victim's daughter disputed this, releasing CCTV footage showing her father merely greeted the woman politely as if they knew each other, and the footage showed no evidence of harassment as claimed.
Key points of public criticism include:
1. Aggressive behavior: Witnesses reported that after the incident, Suea Dusit provocatively said, "Anyone in Nonthaburi, I’m not afraid of the police."
2. Delay in legal action: The victim’s daughter appealed for justice via social media and the "Dr. Kaew Help" page, noting no arrest warrant had been issued despite clear evidence, raising concerns about the influence of the perpetrators.
Subsequently, there were developments from Suea Dusit’s wife’s side, leading to further drama surrounding the woman alleged to be the initial cause.
