Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha was born on 7 December 1978 at Amphorn Sathan Throne Hall, Dusit Palace. She is the eldest daughter of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) and Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, Krom Muen Suthanarinat.
She is the first granddaughter of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX) and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, who graciously bestowed upon her a highly auspicious name.
