Royal Biography: "The Beloved Princess"

Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha was born on 7 December 1978 at Amphorn Sathan Throne Hall, Dusit Palace. She is the eldest daughter of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) and Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, Krom Muen Suthanarinat.

She is the first granddaughter of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX) and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, who graciously bestowed upon her a highly auspicious name.

Excellence in Education

Her Royal Highness has completed advanced education both domestically and abroad. Known affectionately as "Princess Kitty" among her friends, she is recognized for her diligence and determination:

• Undergraduate degrees: She earned a Bachelor of Laws (Second Class Honors) from Thammasat University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University.
• Graduate degrees: She pursued further studies at Cornell University in the United States, obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.) in law. She is the first Thai princess to achieve a doctoral degree in this field.

Notable Contributions: A Lawyer Championing Equality

With her legal expertise, Her Royal Highness has dedicated herself to the justice system, serving as a prosecutor in several provinces and initiating projects that have brought international change:

The "Bangkok Rules": She played a key role at the United Nations in establishing global standards for the treatment of women and children prisoners, marking a historic achievement for Thailand on the world stage.

• The Inspire Project: This initiative provides assistance to pregnant female inmates and children living with incarcerated mothers, offering social opportunities and vocational training to start anew.
• The Puen Phueng Foundation for Hardship Relief, Thai Red Cross Society: She serves as chairperson, leading the timely delivery of royal survival bags and aid to flood victims nationwide.

Military and Sports Excellence

Beyond law, Her Royal Highness has shown keen interest in military and sports fields. She underwent rigorous military training, including parachuting and tactical exercises. She holds the position of staff officer in the King's Guard and Security Command, and has been granted the military rank of "Female General."
