Police General Niran Lueamsri, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, was born on 19 November 1967. He graduated from Saint Gabriel's School before entering the Armed Forces Preparatory School Class 27, Police Cadet Academy Class 43, earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, and an honorary Doctorate in Leadership Innovation. He also completed the National Defense College Class 58.
He began his civil service career in investigation and administration, served in United Nations police missions in Cambodia, held posts as Commander of the Highway Police, Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division, Superintendent of the Police Cadet Academy, Commander of Education, Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, and currently serves as Deputy Commissioner responsible for legal affairs and cases.
Police General Niran has extensive experience in operational, administrative, and international roles. He is noted for addressing structural issues, particularly the long-standing problems of police investigators, and for integrating information across agencies. His career spans over 21 years.
