The government is preparing to launch a new innovative tourism stimulus project called "Thai Teaw Thai Plus" to revive and inject funds into the tourism economy nationwide after the success of past tourism promotion measures. The schedule is expected to open for public registration and use from 1 Oct 2026 GMT+7 onward, coinciding with the Q4 high travel season.
The latest status is that criteria are being finalized and budget approval is being sought from the Ministry of Finance.
Must be a Thai national.
Must be at least 18 years old on the registration date.
Must have a national ID card and a mobile phone number capable of receiving OTP codes.
Must not be on the list of individuals suspended from other government economic stimulus measures.
Booking accommodation: The government subsidizes 50% of lodging costs (participants pay the other 50%), with a maximum discount of 3,000 baht per night.
Quota limited to a maximum of 5 nights per person, with a total of approximately 500,000 rights for the entire project.
Digital travel coupons (E-Vouchers): Receive 500 baht worth of food/activity coupons per right, usable as discounts at restaurants, community shops, car rentals, or one-day tour packages.
Coverage applies across all 77 provinces of Thailand, valid on both weekdays and holidays.
