Voting day for the Social Security Committee, also known asthe Social Security Board,will be on Sunday, 27 September 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00. This election marks a significant step for insured persons and employers to help shape the direction of benefits and policies of the Social Security Fund.

Those eligible to vote are divided into two main groups:
Representatives of insured persons: insured persons under Sections 33, 39, and 40 who have voting rights.
Representatives of employers: employers who have voting rights.

The Social Security Office offers convenient 24-hour online access to check voting eligibility and election information:
Via the SSO Plus app (available for both iOS and Android).
Via the website www.sso.go.th (e-Self Service system for insured persons and e-Service for employers).
Additional advice for first-time users of the SSO Plus app: start by downloading the ThaID app to verify your identity, then open SSO Plus, enter your ID number, scan your face, receive an OTP by phone, and set a 6-digit PIN to access the app.
The Social Security Board election differs from general elections, as it is "not a cross-mark voting system."
How many can be chosen: voters may select up to 7 candidates (7 numbers).
How to vote (valid ballot):
Write the candidate's number in Arabic numerals (e.g., 1, 2, 3) in the "write candidate number" box, placing only one number per box.
If you choose "no vote," mark a cross (X) only in the "no vote" box.
In cases of "partially spoiled ballots," if numbers are unclear—such as writing the number in words like "two hundred"—the system will not count that box, but other correctly marked Arabic numeral boxes will still be counted, up to a total of 7 numbers.

To ensure a fair and transparent election, the Election Commission has set the following guidelines:
Observers including insured persons, employers, and the general public may observe from outside the boundary of polling stations and counting areas without disrupting officials' work.
During voting hours (08:00–16:00), general atmosphere photos or videos can be taken from outside the boundary, but photographing inside voting booths or capturing which candidate a voter chooses is strictly prohibited.
During vote counting (after 16:00 onward), recording the opening of booths, marking of votes, and reading tally sheets on boards is allowed, but equipment must not block or disturb officials.
Displaying campaign symbols is prohibited: no symbols, signs, or campaigning to solicit votes for any candidate is allowed within polling and counting areas.
Filing complaints: If irregularities are found during voting or counting, complaints or objections may be submitted to the polling station chairman using the designated forms.
For insured persons:National ID card (physical or digital via the ThaID app) or any government-issued photo ID with a 13-digit number.
For employers: National ID card, corporate registration certificate (issued within 6 months), and power of attorney if authorizing a representative.
