Monastery Summons Kruba Chaiwat for Inquiry into Inappropriate Conduct Within 7 Days

The originating monastery has summoned "Kruba Chaiwat" for questioning about inappropriate conduct within 7 days and has also called back six other monks to report to their home monastery in Ubon Ratchathani after officials investigated encroachment on Sor Por Kor land used to build the Pat Raksa Jai meditation center in Muak Lek district, Saraburi province.

The letterhead bears the seal of Srisutthawat Temple, a royal monastery located in Kud Pong subdistrict, Mueang district, Loei province, with the subject: Request for monk to return to Srisutthawat Temple.

To Phra Chaiwat Akkachayo (Rojanametikit)

Regarding Phra Chaiwat Akkachayo (Rojanametikit), affiliated with Srisutthawat Temple in Kud Pong subdistrict, Mueang district, Loei province, who requested affiliation since 28 March 2023 but has never reported to Srisutthawat Temple and is known to reside at the Pat Raksa Jai meditation center in Nong Yang Suea subdistrict, Muak Lek district, Saraburi province, where, as shown in news images and social media, he has displayed various inappropriate behaviors causing significant harm to the monastic community and Buddhism.

Therefore, Phra Chaiwat Akkachayo (Rojanametikit) is requested to return to Srisutthawat Temple in Mueang district, Loei province, within 7 days from receipt of this letter so the temple can investigate the facts of the matter further.



Recall of six other monks to their home monastery


At the same time, a letter was issued from the home monastery of six monks residing at the Pat Raksa Jai meditation center, Nong Suea subdistrict, Muak Lek district, Saraburi province, with the letterhead from the Phibun District Sangha Office, Pa Sanam Chai Temple, Phibun Mangsahan district, Ubon Ratchathani province, dated 19 February 2025 GMT+7.


Subject: Order for Satthaviharik monks to return to Pa Sanam Chai Temple

Respectfully to Phra Kru Sumethaworaphon, Chief Monk of Mueang Saraburi District (Dhammayut sect)

The monks: 1. Phra Chaiwichit Piyathammo 2. Phra Taweesin Silasutho 3. Phra Benjapon Silasaro 4. Phra Charukit Ramthammo 5. Phra Kongkiat Thanuttaro 6. Phra Chalanthorn Thanapayanyo

They were ordained on 10 December 2024 at Pa Sanam Chai Temple, Pho Sai subdistrict, Phibun Mangsahan district, Ubon Ratchathani province, with Phra Kru Banhan Ubonkhun, Chief Monk of Phibun Mangsahan district (Dhammayut sect), as the preceptor.

I, Phra Kru Banhan Ubonkhun, have deemed it appropriate to order these six monks, who have been residing and practicing meditation at Pat Raksa Jai meditation center in Nong Yang Suea subdistrict, Muak Lek district, Saraburi province,

Therefore, I respectfully inform Phra Kru Sumethaworaphon, Chief Monk of Mueang Saraburi district (Dhammayut sect), that these six monks are to return their affiliation to Pa Sanam Chai Temple, Pho Sai subdistrict, Phibun Mangsahan district, Ubon Ratchathani province, effective immediately upon receipt of this document.
