
Biography of Kruba Chaiwat: From top salesman to Dharma teacher at Pa Chanachai Meditation Center in Saraburi. He uses online media as a channel to spread teachings before authorities investigate encroachment on over 1,000 rai of Sor Por Kor land.
Within just 2-3 years, many have taken an interest in studying Dharma through online media, and several have ordained at Pa Raksa Jai Forest Temple, where he serves as the head monk. The temple has dozens of monks and nuns, despite being recently established.
Information from the Kruba Chaiwat Foundation for Peace website states that in his childhood, Kruba Chaiwat was ordained as a novice monk with the intention of dedicating his life to monasticism, but later disrobed to continue his studies at the request of his family and teachers.
Kruba graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Science from Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Phayao, an affiliate of Chiang Mai University, in 2007. He worked as a professional nurse for five years while continuing to study Dharma.
Later, Kruba left nursing to become a medical equipment sales representative at a company, achieving top sales and eventually advancing to an executive position. He founded his own company and was ordained briefly before marrying in 2011.
Transitioning to Dharma and alternative healing.
In 2018, a significant turning point came when Kruba decided to resign from his job, explaining that he began to understand the "truths of life" and could no longer continue worldly pursuits.
Afterwards, Kruba worked as a fortune teller based on the concept of karma and became a practitioner of alternative treatments for physical and mental ailments, including methods such as bone-setting massage and assisting people who believed they experienced supernatural conditions.
In 2021, Kruba began serious meditation practice, observing celibacy, shaving his head, wearing white robes, and undertaking a pilgrimage with the intention of self-development to achieve liberation from suffering. He planned to ordain in Laos.
In 2022, Kruba paid respects to Luang Ta Sinsap Chornathammo, who advised him to ordain fully as a monk to spread the Dharma teachings more completely.
Ultimately, Kruba Chaiwat chose to ordain again on 19 March 2023, dedicating his life to spreading Buddhist teachings and helping those suffering.
Over time, Kruba Chaiwat and his disciples have continuously engaged in social and religious activities, with major accomplishments including:
- Donating aid to more than 3,000 households, including over 10 tons of rice.
- Providing a budget of 400,000 baht to build a football field at Ban Nong Maka School.
- Organizing meditation courses and Dharma training attended by thousands.
- Hosting several thousand people studying and practicing Dharma at Pa Raksa Jai Forest Temple within one year.
- Ordaining dozens of monks and nuns at the temple.
Additionally, Dharma teachings are disseminated online via multiple platforms, accumulating millions of views, including live Dharma talks through Zoom with participants from many countries worldwide.
Kruba Chaiwat Akkachayo has become known as a modern Dharma teacher who utilizes technology and social media as primary communication channels for his teachings both domestically and internationally, alongside ongoing meditation events and public service, making his name well-known among Dharma practitioners in recent years.
