Nong Mira, a well-known MC, was severely beaten, reportedly over unpaid house repair fees. After telling a friend to demand the money from 'Suea Dusit', she was assaulted repeatedly on her way home, suffered serious injuries, escaped late at night, and sought help from 'Gun Jomphalang'.
On 4 Jun 2026 GMT+7, at Khlong Luang Police Station in Pathum Thani province, 'Gun Jomphalang' brought 36-year-old Nong Mira, a well-known MC, to report to investigators. She claimed her famous ex-boyfriend assaulted her severely, leaving bruises from her temples to her head, both eyes swollen and bruised, and her face disfigured.
Mira revealed the incident occurred overnight from 30 to 31 May 2026 GMT+7. That night, she had dinner with friends at a restaurant in Khlong Luang. During the meal, she confided about stress over home renovations, as she still owed the contractor 20,000 baht. Previously, she had entrusted her then-boyfriend, a well-known figure, to handle the contractor. She gave him 750,000 baht to manage the contractor since she lacked knowledge about the matter.
When her ex-boyfriend came to pick her up, her friend asked him about the unpaid construction fees, which angered him. Once in the car, he scolded her for telling others about the issue and accused her of alleging he had cheated her.
She denied the accusation, explaining she only expressed stress about the renovation and never said he had cheated her. It seemed to be a misunderstanding. However, her ex-boyfriend remained angry and started repeatedly punching and hitting her. He wore rings on his hands during the assault. She could only try to defend herself as he continued attacking her until they reached her residence.
Upon arriving home, she seized a moment when he fell asleep to secretly text for help from friends and 'Gun Jomphalang' and managed to escape. She then went to the hospital. The next morning, her ex-boyfriend messaged her, asking, “You're not coming back, right?” but she did not respond.
Mira added that although she was badly injured, her ex-boyfriend did not take her to the hospital that night. Before the incident, when she was about to get in the car, her friend reminded him of his promise not to harm her, which he agreed to. Yet, he still assaulted her.
This incident revealed her ex-boyfriend’s true nature after six months of dating. She had previously been seriously assaulted once when she refused to drink alcohol with him and said she wanted to go home, which angered him. While not as severe as this time, he also struck her back then. During their relationship, he often dragged her forcibly whenever she asked to leave.
Now, she is deeply concerned about her safety. Throughout their relationship, he has shown both good and bad moods. She is determined to pursue legal action fully and will not reconcile even if he apologizes. When 'Gun Jomphalang' asked if she would have dated him knowing the outcome, Mira replied, “No.”
'Gun Jomphalang' stated that after the incident, Mira stayed in the hospital for four days and has since improved. He is providing full support for her safety and medical expenses. Currently, Nong Mira is under his protection.
The perpetrator claims to be a Robin Hood and a gentleman but assaulted a woman this way. Importantly, this is not his first time attacking others. This behavior is unacceptable to society because a vulnerable woman was beaten badly by a boxer, leaving her bruised and disfigured.
Previously, he also assaulted an elderly person, claiming to protect Nong Mira. But this time, he attacked Mira herself. Is this really gentlemanly behavior? He was asked how he plans to take responsibility for Mira, who has to work to support her family, especially her paralyzed mother. Such actions are unlikely from a mature person.
'Gun Jomphalang' added that the case involves more complex issues, which he will not disclose to protect the victim. However, the perpetrator knows well what he did to Mira. The details will be used later for legal action.
He has coordinated with the provincial police commanders of both Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani, who assured thorough investigation and prosecution, especially at Khlong Luang Police Station. He sees the police's commitment and believes the case will be resolved. He will not interfere with police work but confirms that all officers oppose violence against women.
He urged society not to blame victims of assault or question why they chose to be with such people. If Mira had known this outcome, she would never have dated him. Society should not add to the victim's suffering but help protect victims. If victims don’t stand up, who will fight for justice? He pledged to seek full justice for the victim.
