The Thai women's national volleyball team, ranked 13th in the world and recent champions of the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship securing their ticket to the 2028 Olympics, played their second Group C match against Kyrgyzstan, ranked 118th worldwide.
Coach Ott Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai, head coach of the Thai women's volleyball team, started with six players: captain Pornpun Guedpard, Sasipaporn Janthawisut, Thaddao Nukjaeng, Chatchu-on Moksri, Pimphaya Kokrumb, and libero Kalyarat Kamwong.
The match result showed the Thai women's volleyball team dominated in every aspect, easily defeating Kyrgyzstan 3-0 sets with scores of 25-13, 25-7, and 25-7, earning a full 6 points, the same as Chinese Taipei who won 3-0 against Mongolia.
Thailand will vie for the Group C championship in their third match against Chinese Taipei, ranked 37th globally, on 18 Sep 2026 GMT+7 at 17:00 local time, with live broadcasts on PPTV HD 36 and the AIS PLAY app.
