"Thaddao" points out two key focuses for the Thai women's volleyball team before contesting the group championship against Taipei at the 2026 Asian Games.
On 17 September 2026, Nan Thaddao Nukjaeng, the main fast attacker of Thailand's women's national volleyball team, spoke after the second preliminary match of Group C at the 2026 Asian Games, where they defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in sets, 25-13, 25-7, 25-7.
This victory secured Thailand's place in the quarterfinals, alongside Chinese Taipei, who also won 3-0 against Mongolia, both holding a perfect 6 points. The two teams will compete for the Group C championship in the final group match tomorrow.
Nan Thaddao revealed that the two key focuses for the Thai women's volleyball team to overcome the resilient Chinese Taipei team are maintaining their team system and the cohesiveness of their play.
Nan Thaddao said, "Today's game (against Kyrgyzstan) was well done by everyone. It also served as a big rehearsal. All players were rotated to get playing time and prepare for tomorrow's match."
"Chinese Taipei is a very tough team, quite resilient. We will focus on our team system and the relationship within the team in our style of play to face them tomorrow."

The Thai women's volleyball team will compete for the Group C title in their third match at the 2026 Asian Games against Chinese Taipei, ranked 37th in the world, tomorrow (18 September 2026) at 17:00 Thai time. The match will be broadcast live on PPTV HD 36 and the AIS PLAY app.
