On 22 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Coach Ott Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai spoke after the Thai women's volleyball team beat the South Korean women's national team 3-0 sets with scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-23, securing the bronze medal for Thailand.
Coach Ott Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai said, “Thank you to everyone who supported us today. We aimed to reach the podium, and we did it, even though it was tough. Over the past four months, from the Nations League until now, we've played 30 matches. It's been intense, but this has allowed us to maintain consistent standards. We can see that everyone gave their full effort.
There were moments when we were a bit slow, but we prepared the team as well as possible. We showed great spirit and determination. Next year, we'll start fresh together. Nearly half the team will be playing abroad. We'll review and decide how to continue preparing the team by mid-next year before the Nations League, and then the Olympics in about 20 months. We're trying to select the best players. Finally, I want to thank all the athletes, coaching staff, and Thai fans for their unwavering support.”
