Lee Da-hyun painfully expressed her feelings as South Korea lost to the Thai women's volleyball team, missing out on a medal at the 2026 Asian Games.
Following the South Korean women's volleyball team’s 0-3 set loss to Thailand (20-25, 19-25, 23-25), they sadly missed the chance to claim the bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games.
After the match, 24-year-old South Korean star Lee Da-hyun said, “We aimed to win a medal all along, and having that collapse overnight leaves me feeling hopeless.”
“It seems this is another proof that we cannot maintain this level consistently. We performed better than at the Hangzhou games, but to earn a medal, we must defeat strong teams.”
“Technically, the skill level of each athlete must improve, and for that, everyone needs to work hard in their respective leagues.”
