Furious Liverpool Fan Burns Salah Shirt, Explains Reasons After Reds Poor Form (Video)

Furious "Liverpool fan" burns a Mohamed Salah shirt, explaining the reasons after the Reds' poor form (video).

On 26 Nov 2025 GMT+7, a Facebook user posted a viral 4-minute 51-second clip on social media protesting the performance of his beloved English Premier League club, Liverpool.

In the clip, he sets fire to a Liverpool shirt from the 2019-20 Premier League championship season, printed with the name and number 11 of star forward Mohamed Salah, burning it clearly on camera. Viewers flooded the comments with reactions.

The Liverpool shirt owner with Salah's name and number explained in the clip, "I said, burn means burn. This shirt was bought at a charity auction for 70,000 baht, witnessed by many."

"I don't hate the team, haven't stopped supporting, and don't hate Salah. I bought this shirt myself. The other 2-3 shirts were gifts. If I burned those, the givers would feel hurt. Some suggested I donate it instead."

"I regularly do charity, giving free coffins to villagers. Whenever disasters strike Thailand, I always help. For those who don't know me and criticize, check my old profile first. Are you better than me to insult or challenge?"

"The main point of burning is to protest the club's poor performance, the players' lack of hunger for victory, poor teamwork unlike before, and the coach's failure to adjust tactics properly, sticking to old ideas."

"Regarding those teaching me about sports or love for the club, I've watched football since 1986 until now, enduring a lot, including being mocked and criticized more than today, something longtime Liverpool fans know well."

"Ultimately, I haven't caused trouble or cost anyone money, but I hope this small voice reflects to the club as one fan among millions worldwide."

"Finally, those who disagree, that's your business. I'm not seeking fame or content creation. Fame doesn't help my business or increase income. I only know my circle of colleagues, and that's enough."

Liverpool's current season performance includes elimination in the League Cup round 4, already out of contention for that trophy. They have fallen to 12th place in the Premier League, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal. In the UEFA Champions League, they still must fight to reach the knockout stage with 9 points, sitting 10th.
