Dominik Szoboszlai, Hungarian international midfielder for the Reds, admitted that the recent Premier League match at Anfield, where Liverpool drew 1-1 with Sunderland, still haunts him to the point of sleepless nights.
Szoboszlai said, “I will definitely not watch that game again.”
“Actually, I never do this, but whenever I watch it, I end up unable to sleep.”
“I keep thinking about the way we played that day because it’s stuck in my head all the time.”
“We love football because it has its ups and downs, but right now we need to find a way to get back up—and do it as quickly as possible.”
Liverpool are currently enduring a rough patch in this Premier League season, having lost six matches and sitting 8th in the standings. They are set to face Leeds United this Saturday night.
