JAS has secured the exclusive live broadcast rights for the Premier League in Vietnam, closing a major deal by signing a partnership with FPT Play to further develop long-term revenue from global sports content.
Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) has signed a live broadcast agreement to hold exclusive audiovisual rights for the Premier League in Vietnam. This agreement follows JAS's prior exclusive rights to broadcast the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos, with Monomax as the main streaming platform.
JAS will broadcast Premier League football in Vietnam through various channels, including the internet, direct-to-home satellite TV (DTH), digital terrestrial television (DTT), cable TV, IPTV, and OTT services. This includes highlights from five and a half consecutive Premier League seasons starting from 1 January 2026 GMT+7, covering part of the 2025/26 season plus the full 2026/27, 2027/28, 2028/29, 2029/30, and 2030/31 seasons.
In this regard, JAS has reached a significant partnership agreement with FPT Telecom Company Limited, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation in Vietnam. FPT Telecom is a major telecommunications operator and the provider of the “FPT Play” platform, which has over 35 million users in Vietnam according to DecisionLab and the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) of Vietnam. FPT Play will officially hold the rights to broadcast English Premier League matches in Vietnam starting from 1 January 2026 GMT+7.
Regarding this long-term collaboration, Dr. Sorachai Aswaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), said, “This agreement follows our exclusive Premier League broadcast rights in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. Seeing the strategic importance and potential of Vietnam, we secured Premier League broadcast rights for the country. We selected FPT Telecom as our distributor in Vietnam, targeting 1.5 million subscribers in the first year. This package includes nearly 200 matches from the 2025/26 season and an additional 1,900 matches over five seasons from 2026/27 to 2030/31. All matches will be available on the FPT Play platform with Vietnamese commentary, and some matches will be broadcast in 4K.”

As a leader in television services, we immediately began negotiations when the opportunity arose. With our robust infrastructure and advanced technology, FPT Play is ready to usher in a new era of Premier League viewing in Vietnam, making it more engaging, accessible, and personalized for all football fans.”
Furthermore, at the 12/2568 board meeting on Monday, 8 December 2025 GMT+7, the company approved the acquisition of these assets. JAS will enter into a Long Form contract, with the process expected to be completed by 31 December 2025 GMT+7.
