Last summer, Rúben Amorim led Manchester United to finish 15th in the Premier League, their worst-ever position since adopting this name. The club spent heavily on signings including Brian Embolo, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Senne Lammens, but overall team performance did not meet expectations.
Recently, Graeme Souness stated, "Manchester United is just an ordinary team. This is Rúben Amorim's fault, right? I think Matheus Cunha and Brian Embolo are good quality players, but the rest are all average. I don't see them finishing in the top four by season’s end.
