Arteta Regrets Only One Thing After Arsenals Narrow Away Win Over Everton

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, opened up after leading his team to an away victory over Everton in the latest English Premier League match.

Mikel Arteta, the "Gunners" manager, said he was extremely pleased with his team's strong performance following their 1-0 away win over Everton, the "Toffees," in the English Premier League last night. His only regret was that they should have scored more.

At Hill Dickinson Stadium, Arsenal secured the winning goal from Víctor Jémez's penalty in the 27th minute, increasing their total to 39 points and successfully reclaiming the top spot from Manchester City.

Arteta said, "I am very happy. We played very strongly. Coming here is always a tough game because they are a very disciplined team. They caused us some problems with their style of play."

"But I think we controlled the game very well and scored a goal. Then in the second half, we talked about scoring a second goal, so we gave our all. We had about three or four key chances, hit the post twice, and probably should have scored more."

"But certainly in terms of defense, we kept another clean sheet. We hardly gave the opponents any chances throughout the game. So it was a good night."

"Being top of the league now shows the consistency we've achieved. We have to enjoy the process of winning, both the good and the bad parts. When we face difficulties, we must accept and fix them so everything goes well, taking it one game at a time."
