Recently, Jamie Carragher said, "I think they (Manchester United) deserved to win this match. This is the result of gradual team development over recent weeks. It shows that Ruben Amorim’s team is moving in the right direction. That’s why lately we've begun to see something different. For example, in this game they played a back four formation both in possession and without the ball, pressing Newcastle to drop back into a back five. They did that very well."
In this game, the home team "Red Devils" Manchester United scored the only goal against the visiting "Magpies" Newcastle United. The goal came from Patrick Dorgu, the left wing-back who switched to right-back, scoring in the 24th minute. This win earned them three points, moving up to 5th place with 29 points from 18 matches.
