Manchester United, known as the "Red Devils," is reported to have submitted an offer to buy a star winger for 90 million euros.
Africa Foot reports that Manchester United, the Premier League giant, has offered 90 million euros to sign Jan Diomande, the Ivory Coast international winger from RB Leipzig.
The 20-year-old Diomande has delivered an outstanding performance this season, scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists in 16 appearances across all competitions for Leipzig. He is currently representing his home country in the Africa Cup of Nations, where the team has advanced to the quarterfinals.
Due to his impressive form, he has been linked with several clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City.
However, the latest reports indicate that Manchester United is the frontrunner to secure Diomande's signature after submitting their 90 million euro offer to Leipzig. Leipzig has also authorized United to negotiate directly with the player's representatives.
Manchester United has proposed a five-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year, offering a salary of 3.5 million euros per season. Final details are expected to be discussed after Ivory Coast completes their Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
Leipzig still holds strong negotiating power over the transfer fee since Diomande's contract with the club runs until June 2030.
